What Is K12 Nursing Explorers?
K12 Nursing Explorers is a virtual career exploration club designed to help students learn more about the field of nursing and the many career pathways they can pursue within healthcare. Offered through K12 Career and College Prep, it connects students with real nurses and healthcare professionals who share their day-to-day experiences, career journeys, and real-world insights into the nursing profession.
Why Should Students Join the K12 Nursing Explorers Club?
Nursing is one of the fastest-growing career fields in the U.S., with the Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting registered nursing jobs to grow 6% through 2033. K12 Nursing Explorers gives students direct access to nurses working across specialties — from pediatrics to emergency care — helping them understand what different nursing roles actually look like before committing to a career path. Who Can Join the K12 Nursing Explorers and How Do They Sign Up?
K12 Nursing Explorers is open to any student in an online school by K12 who is aged 13 and older and is interested in learning about nursing career pathways. Teachers are also welcome to join and share live or recorded sessions with their classes. To join the K12 Nursing Explorers, register for a recorded speaker session here.
