Project-based learning. Hands-on skills.
We believe in teaching students problem-solving techniques and soft skills through project-based learning. Students can apply these critical skills to situations they'll face on the job in the real world. According to a recent study, these are the top three soft skills that job applicants lack.

And teachers aren't merely lecturers but coaches and facilitators, as students control their own learning experience. Old competition-based frameworks of grading curves and high-stakes tests are replaced with collaboration—mirroring the teamwork required to succeed in the modern workplace.
Stride Career Prep students use their high school years to figure out where they want to go and how to get there. In addition to core courses, they take career-focused electives in the field of their choice—all while earning their high school diploma. By discovering what they want to do now, teens are better prepared to dive into a career right out of high school or make an informed decision about their college major. Students benefit by:
Exploring career options
Gaining real-world skills
Choosing from 25+ pathways across multiple career fields*
Preparing for any of 40+ industry-recognized certification exams**
Acquiring hands-on skills and training
Choose an industry. Discover a future.
Whether they're looking to get a head-start on college while still in high school, interested in easing the financial burden of college, or want to prepare for a career field in the new economy—Stride Career Prep has just what your teen needs. Students can choose a pathway in variety of high-demand career fields, including:
