Courses for Their Future
When your teen is asked what they want to be when they grow up, do they have an answer? Stride Career Prep features career exploration courses (typically in middle school or early high school) and career-focused electives for high school students. So whether they're curious about a specific career path or ready with their own five-year plan, this program helps them prepare.

Stride Career Prep career counselors and teachers come prepared with industry experience to help your student determine their pathaway beyond high school. Career Clubs
Teens socialize with other students in career clubs that range from health to business, getting a deeper dive into their favorite topics. And many clubs offer exciting activities such as community service projects, interscholastic competitions, and field trips. Clubs include Business Professionals of America (BPA), DECA, FBLA®, and more.**
Job Shadowing Opportunities
Does your student want to learn more about what their day-to-day life would look like in their chosen profession? Stride Career Prep students experience the workplace firsthand through work-based learning. Virtual or in-person, these experiences include job shadowing, internships, apprenticeships, and more.
Certification Exam Prep
Students can earn Microsoft® Office certifications as well as prepare to take industry-recognized certification exams after graduation.† Official certifications show employers that your student is ready for the job at hand. And there are a wide variety of certifications to choose from, whether your student is studying medicine or software.
Networking
Students have access to Tallo, a networking platform that allows them to showcase their talents and connect with employers and colleges nationwide. Students can also research and apply for college scholarships. In essence, Tallo connects your student with opportunity.
